1) What this extension does
FB Group AutoPost (Standalone) helps you automate posting to Facebook Groups you have joined. It can also manage schedules, handle basic rate-limit cooldowns, and manage a list of group URLs you choose to save.
2) Information we collect
We do not collect personal data on our servers by default.
The extension stores certain settings locally in your browser using Chrome Extension storage to make the features work.
Locally stored data (in your browser)
- Draft post content you enter (text/copywriting).
- Group list (group URLs and optional labels you save).
- Schedule settings (date/time, repeat rules, and enabled/disabled status).
- Rate-limit cooldown state (e.g., timer/cooldown status so the extension can pause safely).
- Media selection metadata (only what is required for the extension to attach media you selected; stored locally).
- Login-gate state (a local flag that you are logged in to AbataBlaster, used only to enable features).
3) Information we do NOT collect
- Your Facebook password.
- Your private Facebook messages (inbox/DM content).
- Credit card or payment details.
- Keystroke logging / tracking outside the extension’s purpose.
- Browsing history beyond the Facebook pages required to perform actions you request.
4) How we use the data
Locally stored data is used only to:
- Fill and submit posts you explicitly start or schedule.
- Remember your group list and preferences.
- Pause activity during rate-limits and resume later if you choose.
5) Data sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not share your locally stored settings with third parties.
Note: Facebook is a third-party platform. When you post to Facebook, the content is sent to Facebook as part of the normal posting process.
6) Security
We take reasonable measures to keep data handling minimal. Since settings are stored locally, your data remains on your device unless you choose to export/share it.
You are responsible for device security (browser profile access, OS login, etc.).
7) Your choices & controls
- You can disable or remove the extension anytime via chrome://extensions.
- You can clear stored extension data by removing/reinstalling the extension, or clearing extension storage in Chrome.
- You control what groups are saved and what content is posted.
8) Permissions (why the extension needs them)
- tabs: to open and focus the Facebook Group tab you choose.
- scripting: to inject scripts that fill the post composer and click “Post” as requested.
- storage: to store your settings locally (drafts, group list, schedules).
- alarms: to run scheduled posting at the time you set.
- host permissions (facebook.com): to run automation only on Facebook pages needed for posting.
9) Children’s privacy
This extension is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the extension. When we update it, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top.
